Past

I just finished reading most of the post I wrote back when I was Form 3-4 (went hiatus during Form 5). If I were asked to describe it in a word; then it would be sad. Sure, there are a lot of mixed feelings too but the prominent one was grief. I believe that the present sketches our future and that our present is sketched by our past. I have a bad memory and that disallow me to look back and see who I was. However, blog can be a vessel for the selected memories to be encapsulated in the form of words. I did that. Back in the old days, I was very honest in my words. Words that really reflects my feelings and my personality at that time; enables me to see my current self in comparison to my old self and see how have I change. I could not say I've grown mature but it seems that I've lost a part of my youth - my imaginative self.

Now?

I see myself as someone who had lost a part of his childhood and replace it with a few qualities of an adult. It is saddening. I try to pick the words that sounds nice but does not truly reflect of who I am. No longer do I have that cheekiness of a kid.

I really miss those old days.
