What's In My Head

Australia

*yawn*

This post will be for my homework. I have to choose one character from the movie Australia and write about him or her. Being the hardworking and extremely rajin guy I am, I shall choose someone of lesser importance compared to the Drover (Hugh Jackman), Lady Ashley (Nicole Kidman, *whistles*!) or even the cows. haha. Nah, obviously he is slightly more important than the cows. I'm just bored...

I shall choose King George!

So here is my analysis about this old dude that goes by the name owned by royal families of the British empire.

============================================

Grandfather of the adorable Nullah, King George is an aborigine of the Land Down Under. Constantly wearing exceptionally revealing clothing, he lives in the wilderness - away from civilization; such is the nature of being an aborigine of Australia at that period of time. People believes he was once the head of an indigenous tribe.

I are cool!

Mystery seems to linger around him, suddenly appearing on some hill with no explanation or a visual proof of how he end up being up there; the thought of him being up there always seem to puzzle me. However, the mystifying aura he carries suit his character of being a "magic man" - one who can perform strange feats that defies logic. In his case, he knows all of the "songs" for all the things, living or not. A song from him is equivalent to an Expecto Patronum from Harry Potter. On one event where the Drover and his riders were lost in Never Never Land, he sang their way to the main city.

He also has the strength of an Olympic javelin thrower even though he does not look like one who has that physical prowess but that's irrelevant. At the end of the movie, he showed his capability of winning a gold medal in the next Olympic's javelin throwing. When Fletcher attempted to shoot down little Nullah with his rifle, King George pierced through him like the a sandbag he is by throwing a metal rod which was extensively available at that moment due to the bombing from the Japanese.

I are coolest

Another thing that should be noted here is that he has this awesome pose which fits perfectly to his mysterious self. As can be seen from the picture up there, he stands with one leg while the other lean comfortably on his other leg.

In short, this mysterious grandfather of Nullah who stands on one leg for no reason that is able to kill people from quite a distance with a metal rod adds a slight but tangible touch of mystery to movie, making the movie a must watch.

So, here is King George saying Tata.
